Terms & Conditions.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. The AirCFI marketplace

AirCFI helps students, independent flight instructors, and designated pilot examiners discover one another, request services, coordinate schedules, and document training activity. AirCFI is not a flight school, aircraft operator, instructor, or examiner.

2. Professional responsibility

Instructors and examiners are responsible for maintaining the certificates, ratings, authorizations, insurance, currency, and approvals required for the services they offer. Students are responsible for providing accurate information and meeting applicable FAA, medical, and training requirements.

3. Scheduling and lessons

A request is not confirmed until the professional accepts it and the parties receive confirmation. Either party should communicate promptly about changes, cancellations, weather, aircraft availability, and safety concerns. Safety decisions always take priority over a scheduled lesson.

4. Payments and fees

Payments are processed by Stripe. AirCFI may charge a platform fee disclosed during checkout. Instructor, aircraft, examiner, cancellation, refund, and payment-method terms will be shown before payment. Actual flight and billable time may be confirmed after a lesson when applicable.

5. Accounts and communications

You must keep your account information accurate, protect your credentials, and use an email address you control. AirCFI may send account, booking, payment, safety, and service messages. Marketing messages can be managed in Settings.

6. Privacy and records

AirCFI uses account, scheduling, payment, and training information to provide the service. Training records should not contain sensitive information that is unrelated to the lesson. Additional privacy terms will be published before public launch.

7. Acceptance

By creating an account or using AirCFI, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to use the marketplace lawfully and safely. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account.
